Du skal strikke forkortede pinde/vendepinde over de yderste 10 m (se evt video link her paa mönstret). Saadan yderkanten bredere. I anden raekke gentager du endnu engang beskrivelsen mellem [-] og samtidig skal du tage 1 maske ud (omslag) yderst paa pinden. Dvs, kanten bliver bredere og laengere.

Knitted DROPS bolero worked in a spiral in "Delight". Size: XS - XXXL.
DROPS 141-24 |
||||||||||
TIP FOR SWITCHING BALLS: To make the color transitions in Delight pretty when switching ball, it is important to find a ball that starts with the same color last ball ended with. GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 K rows. SHORT ROWS: Work 1 row (= RS) over the first 12-14-16-18 sts, turn and work back. Work 1 row over the first 11-13-15-17 sts, turn and work back. Continue with short rows, work 1 st less every time until two rows have been worked only over the first st. Then work 1 row over the first 2 sts, turn and work back, 1 row over the first 3 sts, turn and work back. Continue with short rows, work 1 st more every time, until 1 row has been worked over 12-14-16-18 sts, turn and work back. 1 repetition with short rows = 46-54-62-70 rows. ---------------------------------------------------------- BOLERO: First work the back in garter st with short rows to make a spiral. Then work 2 stripes around the opening for front edges while at the same time inc for front piece. READ TIP FOR SWITCHING THREADS! BACK: Worked back and forth on needle. Cast on 13-15-17-19 sts on needles size 3.5 mm / US 4 with Delight. Work in GARTER ST - read explanation above - for 10 cm / 4". Work 1 repetition with SHORT ROWS - see explanation above. Then work 2 rows over all sts on needle and 1 repetition with short rows again. * Work 1 row over all sts (from RS). Work next row as follows (from WS): Pick up the outermost st from previous stripe, work first st from left needle, pass the new st over, work the rest of row *. Repeat these 2 rows (i.e. from *-*) until 1 st has been picked up in every ridge along the entire side from previous stripe. Work 1 repetition with short rows. Work 1 row over all sts (= from RS). Work next row as follows (from WS): Pick up the outermost st from cast on edge, work first st from left needle, pass the new st over, work the rest of row. Continue like this until 1 st has been picked up in every ridge along the entire side from cast on edge. Work 1 repetition with short rows. Continue in the round until 3 stripes have been worked on all sides around the middle - see diagram A.1 (work short rows 13 times in total). Bind off, piece measures approx. 40-46-52-58 cm x 50-56-62-68 cm / 15¾"-18"-20½"-22¾" x 19¾"-22"-24½"-26¾". ASSEMBLY: Fold the piece in the middle along the longest side, sew tog the outermost 2 cm / ¾" inwards on short sides in each side for armholes. Measure from where piece was sewn tog and 10-12-14-16 cm / 4"-4¾"-5½"-6¼" inwards on each side of the long side, insert 1 marker here, turn piece and do the same on the other long side so that there are 4 markers along the outer stripe (= opening at the front), these are used when the edge around the opening is worked. Also insert 1 marker (in a different color) in the middle of the 2 markers at one of the long sides, this marker = mid back of neck. EDGE AROUND OPENING: Work 2 stripes around the entire opening on the bolero. STRIPE 1: Cast on 13-15-17-19 sts. Then beg at the marker mid back of neck and work as follows: [ * K 1 row over the 13-15-17-19 sts (= RS), next row is worked as follows from WS: Knit up in the outermost st in front loop from previous stripe, work first st from left needle, pass the new st over, work the rest of row *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, then work 1 ridge only over the first (= outermost) 7-8-9-10 sts], repeat from [-] around the entire bolero, bind off. STRIPE 2: Cast on 13-15-17-19 sts. Then beg mid back of neck in outermost st on 1st stripe. Work as 1st stripe until 1st marker. Now beg inc for front piece as follows: FIRST FRONT PIECE: Work as before while at the same time inc sts as follows: Inc from RS by making 1 YO inside outermost st - on next row K YO twisted to avoid holes. Repeat inc every other row until 13-15-17-19 sts have been inc (= a total 26-30-34-38 sts on needle) - while inc still work every 4th ridge only over the outermost 7-8-9-10 sts. When all inc are done, continue as follows: * 1st, 2nd and 3rd ridge: Work back and forth over all sts. 4th ridge: Work back and forth only over the outermost 7-8-9-10 sts. 5th ridge: Work back and forth only over the outermost 13-15-17-19 sts *. Repeat from *-* until 10-12-13-15 ridges remain before next marker on 1st stripe. Now dec the sts that were inc – dec from RS by K tog the 2 sts after the first st. Repeat dec every other row a total of 13-15-17-19 times = 13-15-17-19 sts remain on needle – AT THE SAME TIME (when dec beg), continue as follows: ** 1st, 2nd and 3rd ridge: Work back and forth over all sts. 4th ridge: Work back and forth over the outermost 7-8-9-10 sts ** (i.e. the 5th ridge is no longer worked). When dec are done, work as 1st stripe until next marker. OTHER FRONT PIECE: Work the same way as on first front piece until next marker. Finally work until mid back of neck as on 1st stripe, bind off the 13-15-17-19 sts. ASSEMBLY: Sew tog bind off edge on the 2 stripes edge to edge with cast on edge. |
