Cute Hot Water Bottle Cover

Materials
- Yarn
- I used Lion Brand Yarn’s Pound of Love in Antique White from my stash.
You can find it here on Amazon or direct through LionBrand.com. - You will need approximately 175 yards of any worsted weight yarn.

- Knitting Needles
- 4mm / US size 6 / UK size 8.
- Cable needle
- Darning needle
- Ribbon
- I used 0.5 inch wide, but you can use any ribbon size you prefer.
- Hot Water Bottle
- Dimensions: 14.5 x 8 inches (approximate).
- This is the hot water bottle I have, but any hot water bottle with similar dimensions will work.
- Note: The dimensions listed for this item are the dimensions of the box it comes in, not the bottle itself.

For one of your panels, leave a long tail 5 times the perimeter of the pattern. You will use this tail to seam both sides together.
Repeat entire pattern one more time.
Seam and Assembly Instructions
Using the mattress stitch, start seaming vertically starting from the top, continue down until the bottom, then horizontally seam the bottoms together, finally seam the second side together vertically from the bottom to the top.
Weave in all ends.
Block or steam final piece.
Thread the ribbon through the lace pattern from the Fourth Diamond on Row 18.
Place empty hot water bottle inside your cover, add hot water (never boiling!), tie off your ribbon, and enjoy!
